Im not a big fan of make topics complaining about everything, but a couple of
days ago while i was collecting some of my wallpapers and art for a portafolio,
just realized the fact that my American History X poster was removed from the
gallery with out an announce or something. I just need (and want) an explanation
about the deletion, because, that poster get delated after...maybe 1 or 2 years
on the gallery. Anyway, thanx in advance.
I also have this doubt after watching the series, but in my personal opinion he
have the compac drive cause he was part of the First Summer of Love when Adrock
dissapear ( and join the Control Cluster after ) while he try to cross the zone
with Eureka.
Remember that the only contacts of the Coralian with the human world are Eureka
& Sakuya, Anemone is just a human treated with drugs to have the same skills
( a way of call them ) of a coralian. The old Man on the Gekko-Go is not a
contact, just a watcher of the actions of the crew and the humanity in general.
So its impossible Dewey have a contact with another Coralian on the past or even
have a close encounter with the zone.
The W.A.R show that not all the wallers have the time to make something, also
the battleground competition on AP is leeching the ideas of few of the wallers
here, in my opinion first of all you need a date that helps to all the people,
the ones that now are busy with the rl and the others that have already a
competition
Simple love the theme for this round, a pretty way to express ourselfs for the
first time in some cases, just a doubt that came across my mind when i check the
deviant submission, you dont have to use an scan or is you can use any scan that
you want and fits with the concept?
Love drell wallpaper...really, also the Meth-Ane and smile walls are simple
awesome, second round, a very tough challenge, im just a little dissapointed,
cause i wait this W.A.R just to see crap's entry or nageni's entry

A lot of people support the idea of fall, well i dont have any problem if is on
late summer or fall, about the groups, maybe you can pick 6 or 8 wallers that
have some leadership or you think they can be good leaders and make them start
recruiting people.
Also i suggest to make a group like "battlegrounds" on AP, to have
some control on the latest news, groups and that stuff
Agree with cyd idea about late summer, with the WAR on AP is very difficult to
make original and high quality walls, get the picture of a waller that have to
make one wall for first round on W.A.R and in the same week have to make a new
one for a big battle on WAR...real hard for some people...anyway, count me in or
at least think on me as help in the battleground or some other thing you want.

is time to reactive it. I think in this concept of contest some months ago
[maybe some weeks before the WAR], maybe is not fully original but as you can
read on the description, it have an intention and i really want that all the
wallers understand this.
The next things is something that came out of my mind after think more seriously
about the contest, so far is just a preliminar version cause i havent speak with
people about judging or prices.

Intention: Show that some wallers can think in a background for their walls, not
a simple "make a background and paste a nice scan" [ Even i think this
is the trend now... ]
Duration: A month and a half or maybe two. [ Middle April and Ends in May or
begining of June ]
Rules:
a) Each waller have to write a history about the wall [ 2 or 3 paragraphs with 4
or 5 lines will be ok] Example.- The wall have a girl crying near to a river, in
the history you can write why she es crying, or that kind of stuff.
b) One submission per waller.
c) Free for all wallers, not only for AWR members.
d) 15 or 20 Contestants.
e) Just one round.
f) 3 or 4 judges.
We will have an offsite gallery but you have to submit the wall here in
MT.
Talking about group stuff, maybe i change the content trying to update it to the
actual situation in the community, but this is not only my group, i wanna hear
your ideas.

Like all the people before says, the scan have a very low quality, and like
twisted comment, even if you find it with HQ, the scan dont fit with the concept
of the wall, maybe searching for a scan with a character using a musical
instrument will fit with the concept.
About the background you can add stars, more clouds taken from stock photos or
birds, like blusake poin it the placing of the music is weird, maybe you can try
just adding musical notes or try a brush pack from here that have musical
notes.
The text, im not a big fan of text with that kind of effects, maybe you can
leave it in normal and pic some fancy font like porcelain.
Mmm, the background is pretty nice, nice use of abstract and grunge brushes, no
complains about it.
About the vector, i dont need to point that the vector can be bigger and look
better,maybe you can make it cover almost all the right part, then just blend
it.
The text, i think the font dont fit with the background,something more classic
like Times can make the trick, also like blue sake says, you can focus the text
in one place, something like:
Lust [Big text]
Where will i go...when i die...? [Small text you can add some fancy effect to
it]

The help that give ozma make it look better,the coloring is nice but i think the outline make it look bad, cause it looks blurred.
You need the shadings, is coming nicely, but well, im not too sure about the lines.
